5. Transformation Challenge Update

 

We're coming down the stretch of our 12-Week Body Transformation Challenge! After 9 weeks, our group of 113 participants has dropped a cumulative 960 pounds. While that's amazing, we want to acknowledge that this was a tough week, as a group, for the members of the Challenge.

In fact, it was the first time in Challenge history that more people gained than lost weight. We wanted to point this "milestone" out for a few reasons. First, weight loss is not linear. Although it would be nice to see that number on the scale drop consistently, week after week, it just doesn't work that way.

It's also a great reminder that we can learn something from every situation, experience, and relationship. In other words, instead of looking at things as successes or failures, think in these terms: You either win or you learn. If you find yourself struggling or something didn't go "right," what happened and why? How can you plan better moving forward?

Lastly, no one is perfect. We all make mistakes. We all experience setbacks. Sometimes they're due to things under our control and sometimes they're not. But the reality is that imperfection doesn't make you a "bad" person; it makes you human, and it makes you YOU. And sometimes you fall down because there is something down there that you are supposed to find.
