Greetings, friend!

First and foremost, Happy Father's Day to all you dads out there! Being a father is arguably the most demanding, important, and fruitful gift a man could ever receive, and in my own short tenure, my almost-3-year-old daughter has led me to discover more about myself, relationships, and life than I could have ever possibly imagined. Near the top of the list is living intentionally

"We all get the same 365 days. The only difference is what we do with them." - Hillary DePiano

This applies to EVERYONE—not just fathers. As Paul wrote in the book of Colossians, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart." Said differently, wherever you are, be there. Or, as Mark Batterson put it in his book Play the Man, "Do it like your life depends on it." Whether it's physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, or relationally, leave it all on the court.

Intentional living, according to John Maxwell, is key to "choosing a life that matters," and like many of you have experienced, fatherhood refines, humbles, and promotes growth—for everyone. As we celebrate Father's Day and Men's Health Month, take a moment to express gratitude to important fathers in your life, and if you're a dad, I respectfully tip my cap to you!

1. Favorite Recipe We Tried This Week

The Best Healthy Skirt Steak Recipe

At the crossroads of Father's Day and Men's Health Month, I can't think of a more fitting meal than a big, juicy steak (from a humanely-raised, grass-fed and finished cattle, of course)—sorry vegetarians! And if the sound of that makes your mouth water, then you're going to love this recipe from Coach Cristina, which is, hands down, the best healthy skirt steak recipe with an out-of-this-world marinade (tamari, jalapenos, and tequila, anyone?) that can be used on any cut of meat. You need to try this one!

2. Best of our Weekly Podcast

"When you get up in the morning, think of what a priceless privilege it is to be alive—to breathe, to think, to learn, to love—and then make the day count!" - Marc Chernoff

With every sunrise comes the opportunity and privilege of living intentionally. Regardless of what happened yesterday, today is a clean slate—another chance at getting it right and moving the ball closer to the goal line. The morning sets the tone for the entire day, and when you own the morning, you set yourself up to win the day. The happiest, healthiest people know this. They embrace it, and they use it to their advantage. In this episode of the BioTRUST Radio podcast, we reveal 7 morning habits of successful people that, when done consistently, can help you win the day!

3. Best Customer Testimonial

I'm giving this week's shout-out for BioTRUST VIPer Peter McNamara from my figurative megaphone. While he's dropped over 20 pounds, Peter's transformation can't possibly be captured by numbers on the scale. And while the visual evidence of his weight loss raises eyebrows, even more impressive is the fact that Peter has gone on to successfully complete two triathlons and an Ironman challenge, not to mention that his journey has inspired his daughter and son-in-law to embark on their own life-changing transformations of their own. Way to go, Peter!

"Too busy" to work out? "Not enough time" to exercise? I hear you. When I got my "dad card," I really gained a whole new appreciation for "excuses" like these. I finally realized how healthy habits can easily be challenged by busy, stressful, and demanding lives. But rather than throw in the towel, I just had to make some adjustments to my exercise routine, and the result is my Dad Bod Workout: a fitness guide for busy guys and gals. With these five simple, efficient steps, you can get and stay fit on a limited budget (of time)!

5. Charity Update: Make-A-Wish®

Make-A-Wish®

Meet Celine, 15, who has a rare blood disorder. "There were days when Celine was in such pain in the hospital, I had to carry her; she had no strength," said Wil, Celine's father. "The crazy meds that didn't work, the sleepless nights. We were often left in tears."

"As long as I can remember, I have been in pain," Celine recalls. She's had a lifetime of hospital stays, harsh medicines and arduous medical procedures. It was during recovery from a bone marrow transplant that Celine found a therapeutic and musical outlet for her pain—the ukulele. She became fascinated with the instrument's rich history and would often lose herself in her music, forgetting about her pain.

Celine's wish to go to Hawaii came naturally—she wanted to visit the place where the ukulele was created. When they arrived, her family was welcomed with a surprise ukulele concert, where Celine got on stage and played her own song, "My Journey." For the first time, Celine was no longer in pain or fearful, she radiated strength and joy.

"Now our daughter is glowing in the light of her wish," said her father Wil. "This trip opened her eyes to new dreams and endless opportunities."

"Having my wish granted was something I never believed could have come true," said Celine. "It was a gift. It reassured and inspired me to go higher, think bigger ... that I can do anything I put my mind to."

Thank you for supporting us, our mission, and our partnership with Make-A-Wish. With your help, we've been able to donate over $1.8 million and the honor of granting over 200 wishes, which have transformation power and provide physical and emotional benefits that can increase the chances of survival.
